So much for a monthly newsletter, huh?

I know what you’re thinking. She missed her plane to soak up more of that

golden Tuscan sun. Nope.

It’s true Chris and I did miss our Paris connection back to San Francisco but that’s not why you haven’t received a recent newsletter. The truth is, I’ve been adding new Website features to make your future trips the best ever.

Announcement! Drum roll, please.

Travel The Four Corners has expanded beyond a travelogue to a travel website with breaking news alerts and destination details to give the avid explorer in you critical information. There’s also something for the armchair traveler: Book Reviews of the best travel writing.

Even this newsletter has been re-designed and named

Travelers’ Insight Chronicles.

It’s a mouthful, but it’s a play on our tagline: “Travel With Insight.”

I continue to update my Travelogue, sharing hidden gems and cultural revelations from the places I visit. Read the latest about enchanting Split and Hvar Island in the multi-part Balkans series.

Most people head to nearby Dubrovnik, but Split was where a Roman emperor lounged in an opulent palace, medieval bishops preached defiance, and it's a short hop to Hvar and other islands. 

Our News

Recent Travels: Chris and I flew to Italy with six American friends to spend a week together in a villa near Cortona in September 2023. We drove through Tuscany wine-tasting, truffle hunting and seeing the sites.

Posts on our recent travels to Prague, Scotland and Tuscany are coming.
