Is the world getting crazier and crazier, or is it just me?

Today, several odd travel news stories flashed across Travel The Four Corners’ Travel News Bulletins feed in Travel Resources, with one slightly more believable news item from ABC News reporting airfare costs are rising:

  • Japanese town erects a black screen to prevent tourists from taking selfies with Mt Fuji in the background. EuroNews.
  • Passengers On An Air Canada Flight Were Stranded For 24 Hours, Now The Airline Is Suing Them. View From The Wing.
  • Airfare costs expected to rise, expert shares what travelers need to know to save (ABC News)

Meanwhile, the  US State Department’s travel advisories warn that Antarctica is Level 2 because of “environmental hazards posed by extreme and unpredictable weather and limited emergency services. There are no U.S. government consular services available to U.S. citizens in the Antarctic Region.”
